Our Story

The creation of Indian By Nature in 2004 was brought on by a sheer lack of restaurants offering the traditional delicacies of India with a modern touch.

Diwali & Sounds of Sitar

Celebrating the five-day Festival of Lights known as Diwali

In light of this worldwide tradition, Indian By Nature is excited to announce a live performance by one of India’s finest sitarists, Anupama Bhagwat. The world-renowned sitarist, known for her mastery of Hindustani classical music, has performed in a number of illustrious music festivals both in India and abroad, including Darbar Festival
in Southbank, London. She last performed at Indian By Nature in 2016 and we are excited to welcome her back.

Marrying the sitar’s warm acoustic undertones with traditional rhythms from the Indian subcontinent, she will be accompanied on tabla by Rahul Pophali, a veteran of percussion of more than 1,000 concerts. This evening is one that is guaranteed to excite, thrill and dazzle your senses.

The duo will perform light classical Ragas for your listening pleasure. Ragas are an array of melodic structures with musical motifs, considered in the Indian tradition to have the ability to “color the mind” and affect the emotions of the audience’.

Our exciting event includes a wide range of appetizers, mains & desserts- including our signature dishes such as Lamb Shahi Kofta Curry, Butter Chicken, Fish Malai Tika, and more!
