Unravel the musical mystique of the sitar and the tabla, amidst Indian By Nature's beautiful ambience, every Wednesday for the months of July & August from 4.30-5.30 pm. Our in-house musicians will be offering free introductory lessons on the sitar and the tabla. Acquaint yourself with the different ragas and find out why even the legendary Beatles were drawn to the sitar.

In continuation of our support of the arts and indeed elevating the 'art' of Indian dining itself, we are very pleased to announce the return of live classical Indian music to Indian By Nature!

Beginning tonight, July 2nd, IBN will be offering a duo of performers on Sitar and Tabla as the perfect accompaniment to your evening with us!

Conferred the honorific of 'Ustad', meaning master or maestro of the arts or music, Ustad Jaydeep and Ustad Partha are sure to leave an impression long after the meal is through.

Do join us, every Tuesday - Sunday from 7:30 onwards and prepare to be delighted.

A Murder Mystery Dinner on 10th & 11th June 2016

Aside from serving gourmet meals, Indian By Nature is also known for promoting the arts. Over the years we have hosted Murder Mysteries, One Act Plays, Pantomimes, Photography Exhibits and Concerts with renowned classical musicians.

We are proud to now announce another Murder Mystery - "The Hit Man" – with a stellar cast from the Pattaya International Ladies Club. Mark your calendars for the 10th and 11th of June. Come out to support your favorite actor/actress and guess who the real ‘Murderer’ is while enjoying a sumptuous set meal prepared for your dining pleasure.

Big news from IBN this November! A new menu launches this Diwali!

We are immensely proud to announce a new menu at Indian By Nature! Our stalwart menu, in service over the last 11 years, is being refreshed with new and innovative selections derived from our special events and from Confluence: The Indian By Nature Cookbook. For a restaurant's menu to stand the test of time of over 11 years is an incredible feat and we have kept a large number of classics that you know and love but be prepared for something truly special going forward.

 

The new menu will be launched to coincide with Diwali this year which we are celebrating on the 13th and 14th of November. Come try out the new dishes for the first time with a promotional Diwali set menu that we are offering which will include traditional classic items and new dishes for your tasting pleasure.

That's not all! We have also been busily constructing a new wine cellar which will also be ready during the month of November! We are procuring a new selection of rare wines that will soon be on offer. To mark this addition, we will be offering wines at 20% off.

Sound of the Sitar - Indian By Nature Welcomes Purbayan Chatterjee

Indian by Nature is extremely pleased to announce that we, in partnership with Music at Eelswamp, are exclusively bringing Purbayan Chatterjee for a live sitar performance at Indian by Nature!
Purbayan Chatterjee is a world class performer and one of the most celebrated sitarists in India. To give you an idea of the magnitude of Purbayan's prominence, he won one of India's highest awards, the "President of India Award" at the tender age of 15 for his musical genius. 
He has played in some of the most important performing venues in the world including

  • Sydney Opera House
  • Salle Gaveau, Paris
  • Konzerthaus, Berlin
  • Royal Festival Hall, London

In addition to having recorded 9 music albums, one of which having won the IRAA Award for Best World Music Album, Purbayan's contemporaries have hailed his music as having:
"absolute poise and artistic control... possibly the most outstanding sitar player of the younger generation" Rajendra Teredesai
Purbayan will be accompanied by a contemporary artist on the tabla. Indian by Nature has prepared a very special and extensive buffet menu for you to enjoy in between performances - please peruse at your leisure. Again, as with our sold-out Diwali night, seating is very limited and we only have Purbayan with us for one night, we highly recommend you book as soon as possible!

The event is on Saturday, 13th December and the evening's order of events will be:

  • 6:30pm: Doors open, guests invited for Welcome Cocktails
  • 7:00pm: Dinner buffet commences
  • 8:15pm Performance begins
  • 9:15 Intermission - Dessert Buffet Opens
  • 9:45 - 11pm: Second Purbayan Session with audience interaction

Please note that there will be no dinner service during Purbayan's performance and drinks service will be limited in order to minimize any disruption to the performer and maximize everyone's enjoyment of this extraordinary event.
Tickets for the dinner and show are extremely limited and need to be pre-paid for 2,500 pp Nett.
